Fotoğrafı bir ifade ve sorgulama aracı olarak kullanır. Fotoğrafın kendi potansiyeli üzerine düşünür. Sürekli projesi “Görsel Konuşmalar” , fotoğraf ve fotoğraf-özne ilişkisi üzerine kuruludur. Kolektif çalışmanın önemine inanan sanatçı “Görsel Konuşmalar” projesini farklı gruplarla sürdürmektedir. Yaşadığı kent ve kentin birey üzerindeki etkisini kendi hayatı üzerinden sorgular. Gündelik hayat içerisindeki birey, toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliği ve insan hakları, varoluş, insan-doğa ilişkisi çalışmalarının ana ekseninde yer alır. İstanbul doğumlu Arzu Arbak, İstanbul Üniversitesi Matematik Bölümünü bitirmiş ve yüksek lisans eğitimini elektronik işletme üzerine yapmıştır. Çalışmaları ulusal / uluslararası çeşitli fotoğraf festivallerinde, galeri ve fuarlarda sergilenmiştir. Farklı disiplinlerdeki sanatçılarla ortak projeler yürütmektedir.

Arzu Arbak uses photography as a means of expression and questioning. “Visual Conversation” is a continuous project which is prepared based on the philosophy of photography and which questions the relationship between photography itself and the audience. Believing in the importance of collective work, the artist continues her “Visual Conversations” project with different groups. The individual in everyday life, women’s right, existence, relationship between nature and human take place in the main axis of her work. Born in Istanbul, Arzu Arbak graduated from the Department of Mathematics at Istanbul University and completed her master’s degree in electronic business. Her works have been exhibited in various national / international photography festivals, galleries and fairs. She carries out joint projects with the artists from different disciplines.
